Amex is giving a mini-stimulus package to its premium cardholders. Last week they added a whole lot of new benefits, and this week we got word of some sweet appreciation statement credits being added to refund part of the annual membership fee. Amex has previously stated that the benefits are being added to make their premium cards worthwhile even in an environment where no one is traveling.

Here Is Whats New

Platinum Cards

  • Platinum Consumer Cardholders will receive up to $20 per month, from 05/01/20 through 12/31/20 a total of $320 in statement credits on select streaming and wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers.
  • You will receive a $200 Amex travel credit after your membership renewal (annual fee $550) between 05/01/20 -12/31/20. As per DOC, the credit will be valid for 18 months for any Amex Travel purchases

  • Platinum Business Cardholders will receive up to up to $20 per month, from 05/01/20 through 12/31/20 a total of $320 in statement credits on wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers and U.S. purchases for shipping.
  • Plus,  Up to $200 in additional statement credits for U.S. purchases with Dell. That is beside the $200 existing credits. You will receive $100 additional statement credits from May 1 through June 30, 2020, and another additional $100 statement credits between July 1 and December 31, 2020.
  • You will receive a $200 annual fee credit after your membership renewal (annual fee $595) between 05/01/20 -12/31/20.

Green Cards

  • Green Consumer Cardholders will receive up to up to $10 per month, from 05/01/20 through 12/31/20 a total of $80 in statement credits on wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers.

Delta Cards

  • Delta SkyMiles Gold, and Blue Consumer cardholders will earn 4 miles at U.S. supermarkets (May through July 2020).
    Delta SkyMiles Platinum Cardholders will will earn 4 miles at U.S. supermarkets (May through July 2020). Plus, get a $50 annual fee credit after your membership renewal (annual fee $250) between 05/01/20 -12/31/20.
  • Delta Platinum Business cards will receive a $100 annual fee credit after your membership renewal (annual fee $250) between 05/01/20 -12/31/20.
  • Delta Reserve Business cardholders will receive a $125 annual fee credit after your membership renewal (annual fee $550) between 05/01/20 -12/31/20 .

Marriott Cards

  • Marriott Bonvoy Business cardholders will now earn 6 points at U.S. supermarkets on up to $7,500 in purchases (May through July 2020).
  • Plus, receive a $50 annual fee credit after your membership renewal (annual fee $125) between 05/01/20 -12/31/20 .

  • Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Consumer cardholders will now earn 6 points at U.S. supermarkets on up to $7,500 in purchases (May through July 2020).
  • Plus, you can now use your $300 Marriott Bonvoy Statement Credit benefit for purchases by US takeout and restaurants including delivery (June through August 2020).

Hilton Cards

  • Hilton Surpass cardholders will now earn 12 points at U.S. supermarkets (May through July 2020).

  • Hilton Aspire Consumer Cardholders will now earn 12 points at U.S. supermarkets (May through July 2020).
  • Plus, you can now use your $250 Hilton resort credit for purchases by US takeout and restaurants including delivery (June through August 2020).

  • Hilton Honors Business cardholders will receive a $50 annual fee credit after your membership renewal (annual fee $95) between 05/01/20 -12/31/20.
